History

Dresden Insurance Agency was founded by Bill Prichett and later sold to David Campbell and Steve Shanklin. The agency serves Weakley County and the surrounding areas for all lines of insurance. Westan Insurance Group, Inc. purchased the Dresden Insurance Agency on May 1, 2007. The original location was on the north side of the square on Maple Street in Dresden. The agency is now located at 123 N. Poplar Street, Dresden, TN. Brenda Griffith, a long time employee of the agency remains with the agency. Plans for the agency are to expand its customer base in both personal and commercial lines. Life and health products will be offered by members of the Westan Insurance Group staff.
